Check if you are eligible for the Energy Savings Program by checking your combined household income in the past year. Rebate coverage is based on the combined income of all adults in your home and how many people live in your home, including adults and children. Go to line 15000 of every adult’s Notice Of Assessment and sum up the amount to compare with table below:

Requirements

Requirements for central ducted heat pump installation rebate from Energy Savings Program:

The home must be your year-round primary residence and it has to be at least 12 months old

For income level 1 & 2, the property must be less than $1,230,000 in value under BC Assessment, if the value is over, then the household will be income level 3

You must have an active account with Fortis BC and BC Hydro, you pay your own utilities (i.e. not covered by strata or landlord), if you are a renter, you need a signed landlord consent form

4 The residential types can be: single-family homes, secondary suites with separate meters, permanently fixed mobile homes, duplex, triplexes, rowhomes, or town homes (with individual meters)
