BC Hydro is providing special incentives for customers in select postal codes within specific municipalities to help them reduce or shift their household energy use.
If you upgrade your electric system or water heating system, you could get community based top-up on top of the standard rebate you can get from BC Hydro.

Before starting your project, make sure your home meets the eligibility requirements for the rebate program. It’s important to work with a licensed contractor. If you plan to install a heat pump, you must choose a contractor who is a member of the Home Performance Contractor Network (HPCN) to qualify. Once your upgrade is complete, ensure that both the selected product and the installation meet all rebate eligibility criteria for heat pump or heat pump water heater upgrades. After everything has been installed and verified, you can submit your rebate application online to receive your incentive.
