The home must be your year-round primary residence and it has to be at least 12 months old
For income level 1 & 2, the property must be less than $1,230,000 in value under BC Assessment, if the value is over, then the household will be income level 3
You must have an active account with Fortis BC and BC Hydro, you pay your own utilities (i.e. not covered by strata or landlord), if you are a renter, you need a signed landlord consent form
The residential types can be: single-family homes, secondary suites with separate meters, permanently fixed mobile homes, duplex, triplexes, rowhomes, or town homes (with individual meters)
